Glenn E. Lowenberg, D.C., A.T.C.

As a certified athletic trainer specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Lowenberg brings to our staff a great deal of practical experience in the field of rehabilitation and exercise. He has combined his knowledge as an exercise physiologist, with the fundamentals of movement, to help create this rehabilitation and conditioning program. In his role as both chiropractor and trainer, Dr. Lowenberg has provided medical assistance to the National and Olympic Track teams since 1984.

He has also been on staff for numerous World Class competitions including the Millrose Games, National Sports Festibal, Track and Field World Championships and U.S. Swimming Championships. He introduced the stability ball into his own practice over a decade ago and has shared his techniques with many health care professionals, teaching continuing education and re-credentialing classes for chiropractors.

Hugh L. Bassewitz, M.D.

Hugh L. Bassewitz, M.D.

Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Bassewitz is an expert in spinal surgery who practices in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Bassewitz trained at world famous institutions such as Johns Hopkins, UCLA, and William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

He is a fellowship trained spinal surgeon who is also on the faculty of the University of Nevada School of Medicine and Chief of Surgery at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has written various book chapters, taught seminars and courses, and conducted research on numerous spin surgery topics.

Diane John, P.T.

The founder and director of a leading rehabilitation facility on Long Island, NY, Diane John has been a physical therapist of almost 20 years. As a rehabilitation specialist she has developed and refined many exercist techniques related to the use of the stability ball. This program is a mainstay in her practice for trunk stabilization and has benefited thousands of back patients over the years. A graduate of New York University, she earned her degree in physical therapy and specializes in orthopaedics and neurology.
